Happy New Year 2015!

I hope everyone enjoyed their New Year’s Eve & started their New Year well! My goal for this year is to write more often on this blog, posting at least once a week. I know I’ve said this countless times before, but I’m going to make a serious effort to maintain this blog regularly this year & going forward.

Today I hung out with my youngest sister & one of my best friends. I was surprised that the trains were running so smoothly and they weren’t crowded. I figured most people were too hung over from last night to go out today, LOL. Well apparently the tourists didn’t party as hard as New Yorkers, because once we got to Midtown there were hoards of tourists on foot. I get it, this city is great for the holidays. It has so much to offer, but a bit of common sense can go a long way. For instance, don’t block the entrances to the subway, unless you want to get trampled or maimed. When you’re not moving, step aside, either to the curb (not at the crosswalks) or against the buildings (not at entrances/exits). If you’re going around in a group, specially large groups, don’t take up the whole width of the sidewalks. There’s absolutely no excuse to walk 6-people across, you’re just being an a-hole. So don’t looked shocked when you get a “Get out of the f-ing way!”

Feel free to post comments or share similar experiences, whether in NYC or elsewhere.
