The real snow has finally arrived in NYC. I have a love/hate relationship with snow. I love how the sereneness of it as it falls & sticks to the ground. It makes my dull neighborhood look pretty for a brief moment. But I hate that as quickly as is lands on the ground, the traffic on foot & vehicles turn it into a slippery, dirty slush. I also hate that snowfall means wearing layers & heavy boots. But most of all, I hate that snow gives the trains & buses in our transit system an excuse for even more delays.
